Ed Schultz Fires Back at ‘Coward’ Hannity for Declining Debate Challenge

Looks like we got ourselves a good, ol’-fashioned cable news feud on our hands! Ed Schultz and Sean Hannity have been going back and forth a bit the past week over the other’s credibility, with Schultz challenging Hannity to a debate. Hannity called Schultz a “buffoon” in his response, and Schultz fired back on Monday by calling Schultz a coward.

The feud reached a fever pitch last Friday when Schultz called Hannity the “king of cheap shots” and saying he would “sell his absolute soul” to defeat President Obama.

Hannity responded in a statement provided to Mediaite to make it clear he thinks Schultz is a “total buffoon” and not worth his time. Schultz reacted on Monday by accusing him of cowardice, saying “Hannity doesn’t have the guts to go head-to-head with me.”

Schultz denied this is about him getting more attention, saying he’s just itching to rebut some of what Hannity’s been saying about Obamacare.

He concluded, “If Sean Hannity wants to pretend he’s not a coward on debating me or correcting his mistakes, he can keep on pretending.”
