Eric Bolling Explains Why He Battles with Jon Stewart (Which Made Our Year-End List)

Fox News’ Eric Bolling ended today’s Cashin’ In with a nod to his feud with Jon Stewart making Mediaite’s best feuds of 2014 list, and he explained what his problem is with the Comedy Central host.

Bolling first used the “Wake Up, America” segment to take shots at President Obama for encouraging “divisive race rhetoric” and Al Sharpton for lacking any sort of real advice on “how blacks and whites can get along better.”

He hit all the usual Fox News targets, like the liberal media and anti-cop protesters, but Bolling also honed in on his feuding with Stewart (and Stephen Colbert) in particular. Plenty of Fox News hosts have been the subject of ridicule on The Daily Show, but Bolling has generally been one of the Fox hosts most vocal about striking back.

And this is why he feels he needs to:

“I did it to expose the hypocrisy that resides in the liberal media. Jon Stewart has made a career out of taking shots at those of us who seek the truth and hold politicians accountable. Johnny, ole boy, protecting the corrupt politicians serves no one.”
