Former Obama Doctor: Hillary Clinton Should Undergo Full Neurological Exam
Dr. David Scheiner, the former physician to President Barack Obama, said on CNN Tuesday that Hillary Clinton should undergo a full neurological exam and release the results to the public.
Scheiner said on Erin Burnett Outfront that Clinton’s doctor’s note was not enough to go on. “There are a number of questions I have. First of all, she’s also 69 years old,” he pointed out.
He singled out her use of the anti-blood clot drug Coumadin. “You have to monitor that, and it says she’s being monitored regularly. I would like to know how well she is being controlled. That’s a difficult drug to use,” he said.
“I also think she should have had a neurological examination, a thorough neurological examination in 2016,” Scheiner said. “We know what happens to football players who have had concussions, how they begin to lose some of their cognitive ability. I think both of them should release their records.”
For all his suggestions, Scheiner said he was still voting for Clinton. “I have misgivings about Hillary Clinton, but by far she’s superior to [Donald Trump]. He scares the devil out of me,” he said.
