Fox & Friends Adds More Friends — Now An Hour Earlier!
Fox and Friends fans rejoice! The Hollywood Reporter‘s Michael O’Connell broke the news that Fox News Channel is expanding their flagship morning show an hour earlier.
While the weekday anchor trifecta of Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Gretchen Carlson will continue doing what they’re doing at 6 am — a new tour de force cast of friends will host the the 5 am hour including Heather Childers, Dave Briggs, Ainsley Earhardt, Heather Nauert, Juliet Huddy, Julie Banderas, Anna Kooiman, Clayton Morris, Arthel Neville, Jamie Colby, and Patti Ann Browne.
Replacing a re-reun of the O’Reilly Factor, Fox and (Lots Of) Friends will compete with MSNBC’s Way Too Early with Willie Geist at 5:30 and CNN’s Early Start which runs 5-7 AM.
Since its launch in 1998, the show has become a morning programming block powerhouse, besting all of the other cable news morning shows combined in total viewers.
