Fox & Friends Host Doocy Laments That Maxine Waters is Turning Congress Into a ‘Cable News Show’

Fox & Friends took on the explosive clash between Rep. Maxine Waters and Rep. Mike Kelly on the House floor over auto industry discrimination last week — and host Steve Doocy lamented that the congresswoman is making a mockery of the institution she serves.

For his arguments in support of the auto dealership industry, of which he is a member, Kelly received a harsh tongue-lashing from Waters on the House floor.

Fox & Friends backed Kelly’s argument against discrimination in the auto-industry, which he made the case for on the show Monday morning.

“You’re backing people into a corner, people are tired of that,” Ainsley Earhardt said of Waters. “And so they’re finally speaking out, and now they’re doing it on the floor.”

“Which is rare, there are rules where you cannot do that,” Doocy said about the spat between Kelly and Waters. “But suddenly Congress now looks like a cable news show.”

“Or it looks like Britain,” Brian Kilmeade joked. “They scream at eachother, they seem to be ok.”

“I don’t think you can impugn the integrity of another member, that’s the problem,” Doocy said. “The back and forth was sharp.”
