Fox & Friends Mocks Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for Flying on a Plane: ‘Now She’s a Capitalist On Her Own Time’
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes (D-NY) managed to captivate Fox & Friends again since the curvy couch lobbed several jabs at her on wednesday while covering her alleged dark money operation.
Ocasio-Cortez is under scrutiny because of a Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint that claims she worked with her chief of staff to conceal “hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign spending during the 2018 campaign.”
Ocasio-Cortez defended these claims by saying “there is no violation” when asked about this yesterday, but since she took that question at Ronald Reagan National Airport, Fox & Friends started their coverage by snarking over the idea that she flies on planes while championing the Green New Deal.
“Now she is a capitalist with her own time,” Pete Hegseth said as Steve Doocy noted how trains can get from Washington to New York faster than planes.
As the show continued to pour over the details of the FEC complaint, Doocy made his colleague start laughing after accidentally saying Ocasio-Cortes’ alleged conduct happened “when she was running for president.” He corrected himself by saying Ocasio-Cortez ran for Congress while noting that the allegations are “so ironic” after her talk of election transparency.
The discussion went on with Hegseth calling Ocasio-Cortez out for “hypocrisy” if she dealt with PAC money in this way after railing against the practice.
