Fox & Friends Slams Network Coverage of House GOP No Collusion Findings: ‘Do the News!’
Fox & Friends bashed the media on Tuesday for not giving sufficient coverage to the news that the GOP members of the House Intelligence Committee decided to shut down their investigation into Russia — after finding no evidence that President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded.
Despite the objections from Democrats that multiple documents and witnesses still need to be scrutinized, the investigation’s GOP members will soon release a report declaring that there is no evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign to sway the 2016 election.
As the curvy couch poured over the news, they noted how the report is expected to talk more about alleged FISA abuses and the notion that Hillary Clinton‘s connection to the Fusion GPS dossier is a more troubling issue.
As they talked about how there’s “zero evidence” of collusion thus far, Brian Kilmeade switched gears by talking about how CBS, NBC and ABC only devoted a few seconds to the news during their evening broadcasts. Obviously, he and his co-hosts were not impressed.
“It’s just sad,” Steve Doocy said. “It’s called a news channel, do the news!”
Kilmeade acknowledged that MSNBC talked about the news a great deal since Adam Schiff gave an interview to Rachel Maddow last night, but he grumbled about how the interview happened on an opinion show.
