Fox & Friends Toy Segment Goes Awry When Co-Host Falls Off Scooter-Bike

It’s a slow news week, so the cable shows have to fill the excess time somehow. Fox & Friends went with a segment featuring those new scooter-bike combinations and, of course, it went hilariously awry after just a few minutes.

Meteorologist Maria Molina received an escort from the toy company’s spox for her in-studio ride. But newsreader Heather Nauert and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck thought they could do better.

You could tell this was about to go wrong from the moment Nauert sped off, or when Hasselbeck maneuvered her bike while wearing high heels. Suffice it to say, Hasselbeck did just fine, but Nauert made a loud thud off-camera, crashing into the camera pit. She laughed it off like a champ, though.

Legal analyst and occasional co-host Peter Johnson, Jr. immediately ran over aid her, prompting this rather clever line from Steve Doocy: “Notice how the first person to get to her is the attorney.”

“These are safe toys,” Johnson reassured his audience as the company spokesperson looked on silently.
