Fox Hosts on Trump’s Judge Attacks: He’s ‘Playing Identity Politics’ Just Like Dems Do

the fiveHosts of Fox News’ The Five today critiqued Donald Trump‘s attacks on a Hispanic judge by saying what he’s doing is playing the same kind of identity politics Democrats engage in all the time.

“Conservatives,” Jedediah Bila said, “have been fighting against identity politics for a long time. This is what the left does. They isolate people based on your gender, based on––’let’s cater to women, let’s cater to this group of people’––and conservatives are always saying, ‘No, we’re all people.'”

Tom Shillue agreed, saying, “this is what Democrats do… they are saying that people should vote a certain way or think a certain way because of their ethnicity.”

“So,” he concluded, “Trump’s doing nothing different than the DNC does every day!”

Both of them agreed that Trump needs to back off these attacks and focus on winning in November, because, as Shillue argued, no one cares about Trump University.

Bila also wondered aloud, “Does this guy wanna win? If he wants to win, he needs Hispanics, he needs women. He needs to watch what he says… You’re giving Hillary Clinton her campaign material!”
