Fox News’ Chris Wallace Knocks Talk of ‘Deep State Coups’ Against Trump: We’re Not There Yet

Fox News’ Chris Wallace today said that all the talk of “deep state coups” against President Trump are pretty premature.

On Outnumbered Overtime today, Wallace told Harris Faulkner that there are serious questions that need to be addressed, but the Trump White House is right now doing everything they can to “undercut the credibility” of Robert Mueller‘s probe because if the conclusions are ones they don’t like, they can say “we told you so.”

The texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page show clear anti-Trump bias, he said, but there’s still the question of whether there was a thumb on the scale.

“I’m not sure,” he added, “that talking about deep state coups against the president or corruption at the highest levels of the FBI, I’m not quite sure we’re there yet.”

Might he have been indirectly addressing others on Fox News as well?
