Geraldo Rivera––Trump ally (and occasional critic)––declared today is “the best day” of President Trump‘s administration so far.
Rivera and the other co-hosts of The Five were talking about the President’s handling of North Korea after his meeting with an envoy for Kim Jong Un today.
Greg Gutfeld defended Trump’s strategy from criticism and said it comes down to people not liking Trump’s style.
“This is a developer from Queens, not a professor from Columbia,” Gutfeld said. “So he does things like a developer from Queens. Meaning it’s about respect and reciprocity, servicing a client.”
Rivera expressed hope about where the talks with North Korea could go before saying this:
“To me, today––along with 3.8 percent unemployment and record low unemployment for black people, for Hispanics, for women, and this news about a peace treaty with Korea––I think this is the best day of the Trump presidency.”
