Fox News’ Jesse Watters Sides With Sarah Sanders on Media Errors: It’s Not ‘Honest Mistakes’

Fox News’ Jesse Watters backed up the White House’s assessment today about how recent media blunders are not merely “honest mistakes.”

ABC News and CNN have both faced scrutiny after botched reports, especially by President Trump.

And as Huckabee Sanders said, “There’s a very big difference between making honest mistakes and purposely misleading the American people.”

Watters agreed that she has a point, claiming that all the retractions seem to be about Trump-related news:

“I don’t believe it’s honest mistakes. I believe it’s even more than sloppy reporting, ’cause there’s not a lot of other sloppy reporting. I don’t remember a lot of retractions during the Obama administration. There’ve been more retractions in one year of Trump than there were in eight years of President Obama, so I believe that it’s ideologically motivated.”
