Fox News’ Judge Napolitano: Mueller Tactics That Giuliani is Blasting Are Same Ones He Used as a Prosecutor

Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano today defended Robert Mueller from some of the criticism he’s faced in the past week.

Jerome Corsi has allegedly filed a complaint against Mueller, while Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani was recently on a tear against the “destructive” special counsel.

He told Harris Faulkner of the former there’s a question of “whether or not the authorities to whom Jerome Corsi filed his complaint take it seriously,” because “almost everything that he has accused the prosecutors of doing is standard operating procedure for prosecutors.”

“This is… the dark side of law enforcement,” Napolitano said. “It is not neat and it is not pretty. Prosecutors can coerce. They can threaten. They can lie. They can deceive. They can do anything short of actually committing a crime in order to extract evidence from a witness or in order to flip the witness to their side. That’s apparently what they’ve tried to do with Jerry Corsi.”

As far as Giuliani’s concerned, Napolitano gave the President’s lawyer credit for how effective he’s been at “persuading the public” that impeachment or indictment of Trump is “untenable.”

That being said, he did add, “He knows the techniques that he’s blasting are the same techniques he used when he was a chief federal prosecutor!”
