Fox News’ Kennedy Slams Jason Chaffetz for Call to Vet Child Migrants: ‘I’m Sure These Mini Rapists All Have Bombs’

Fox News’ Outnumbered erupted into a shouting match over immigration on Monday after host Lisa Kennedy called out Republican lawmaker Jason Chaffetz for declaring that the child migrants being detained on the southern border need to be vetted.

After Chaffetz argued that President Donald Trump‘s border wall must be built, Outnumbered host Harris Faulkner asked: “What do we do with the children who are already here?”

“First of all, you’ve got to vet them,” the former Utah congressman said.

“How do you vet a child?” Faulkner exclaimed.

“Because you’ve got to make sure that the person coming across –” Chaffetz started, before Kennedy cut in.

“Come on, man,” she said. “I’m sure these mini rapists all have bombs strapped to their chests.”

“No no no no no no,” Chaffetz protested.

“We’re demonizing the wrong people, it’s become so illogical,” Kennedy said.

“No! You are so naive, I can’t believe it,” Chaffetz said. “There is so much human trafficking.”

“I am far from naive when it comes to this but I am also not an alarmist,” Kennedy shot back. “You were in Congress for so long, you didn’t fix the system either. Democrats can’t do it, Republicans can’t do it.”

The pair continued to battle it out, with Chaffetz maintaining that child migrants need to be vetted to determine that they are actually the children of adult migrants and not drug mules.
