Fox News’ Martha MacCallum Loses Super Bowl Bet, Forced to Wear Eagles Jersey On Air
We’ve already seen the result of one Super Bowl bet between TV news personalities as Fox News’ Bret Baier donated to a charity of CNN’s Jake Tapper’s choosing after Tapper’s Eagles beat Baier’s Patriots. And now we have another one.
Towards the end of today’s broadcast of Fox News’ The Story, host Martha MacCallum had to pay off her bet with colleague Jesse Watters. Prior to the broadcast, MacCallum informed her viewers that due to Philly coming out victorious, she would be wearing an Eagles jersey on the air.

“Tonight I am making good on my promise,” MacCallum said while introducing Watters. “I am wearing the Jersey I promised Jesse Watters I would wear in honor of your Eagles.”
“You look great in green,” Watters responded with a grin as MacCallum sat across him in a Philly jersey and Pats ballcap.
“No, I look terrible in green,” the Fox News host retorted. “This is no one’s good color. It’s a terrible color. I can’t just wear this. There will be an image of people thinking I am an Eagles fan which I am not. I wore Patriots blue.”
At the end of the segment, Watters again noted how “great” MacCallum looked in green, resulting in MacCallum telling him that she was going to give him back the gear immediately.
