Fox News’ Napolitano Backs Up Trump’s Attack on Sessions: ‘Do We Still Have an Attorney General?’
Minutes after President Trump attacked his own Attorney General on Twitter again, Judge Andrew Napolitano backed up his criticisms of Jeff Sessions.
Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!

Napolitano spoke with FBN’s Stuart Varney this morning and noted how he made similar comments before the President’s tweet, saying the IG “cannot indict” and this whole thing will “take forever.”
“I can’t take credit for it,” he said, “but I can say that I agree precisely with what the President said. The President should be telling the Attorney General what he wants done.”
Varney asked Napolitano for his more general thoughts on the AG, and Napolitano dryly asked, “Do we still have an Attorney General?”
He admitted he feels badly about calling out Sessions like this because they’ve been friendly in the past, but “he seems to be not there, all he seems to be doing is making speeches.”
