Fox News’ Neil Cavuto Defends Trump Criticism After Angry Viewer Responses

Fox News’ Neil Cavuto occasionally enjoys reading hate mail on air, and he did it again today after another Trump-critical commentary yesterday.

The Fox anchor called out Trump after his Fox & Friends interview and said, “The implications of what you’re doing, Mr. President, are very real. You are so darned focused on promoting a financial boom that you fail to see that you are the one creating this moral bust.”

Cavuto acknowledged today he knew he’d “get an earful” over this, and he separated the angry replies he got into several different categories of criticism.

For example, people accusing him of just hating Trump. To that the Fox News host said he’s always respected the President’s “business skills” and argued he wasn’t as dismissive of Trump’s presidential run as others.

Other categories of viewer criticisms included:

  • Cavuto’s a left-wing lunatic.
  • Cavuto’s reading the changing winds at Fox.
  • Cavuto’s a RINO. RINOs hat Trump, duh!
  • Cavuto’s gone rogue!!
