Fox News Panel Devolves into Chaos Over Russian Probe: ‘Do I Need to Send You a Copy of Schoolhouse Rock?’
A Fox News discussion with former Deputy Campaign Manager for the Trump Campaign David Bossie and Democratic Political Analyst Chris Hahn went off the rails Friday night after host Jeanine Pirro brought up the Mueller probe.
“I am going to read something from the New York Times,” Pirro began during the Justice with Judge Jeanine panel. “A year and a half later no public evidence has surfaced connecting Mr. Trump’s advisor to the hacking or linking Mr. Trump himself to the Russian government’s disruptive efforts. That’s the New York Times. You want to tell me what Robert Mueller is doing?”
Hahn suggested that such investigations take time.
Bossie then countered the investigation was out of control.
“Robert Mueller has been there for one year. But this investigation, Judge, has been going on for almost two years. It began during the summer of 2016,” Bossie said. “No collusion, no evidence of any wrongdoing whatsoever. With this president or his advisors. No, No, this is ridiculous on its face.”
Things went off the rails fast.
At one point, Hahn suggested that while Trump has not been implicated directly yet, he is known by the company he keeps, prompting Pirro to suggest that would mean that “for every Muslim who kills another person, all Muslims are bad.”
Then, Pirro demanded to know why Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who she ripped apart in her opening monologue, still had a job.
“Why is he still there, David?” Pirro pressed, pointing fingers at Sessions for not delivering the documents.
That prompted Hahn to ask, “Do I need to send you a copy of Schoolhouse Rock?”
From there, it devolved into a lot of shouting, crosstalk, and Sessions bashing.
