Fox News’ The Five Gives Thanks to Hillary Clinton For Providing Endless Content

For this Thanksgiving, The Five was strikingly honest, giving thanks to a retired senior who has provided outrage content for the show well past the height of her relevance: Hillary Clinton.

The former secretary of state, despite losing the 2016 election to Donald Trump, has since been a permanent fixture on Fox News airwaves. The Five guest host Lawrence Jones confessed as much on Friday.

“This Thanksgiving, we are thankful for Hillary Clinton for, of course, giving us more material to discuss,” Jones said. The topic of The Five‘s latest Clinton-centric outrage: an interview she did with the Guardian, where she played media critic and argued Europe needs to “get a handle on immigration to combat a growing threat from rightwing populists.”

“She wont go away,” Jones said on The Five.

“It’s very hard for her to exit stage left,” Dana Perino added. “She can’t get off the stage.”

“I’m pretty sure that Fox has her under secret contract,” Greg Gutfeld joked. “Because she is delivering pre-packaged segments on a weekly basis. We don’t even have to do that much. Between her and [Michael] Avenatti I think December is set for us.”

“She should go away,” said former Bill Clinton adviser Doug Schoen at the end of the segment. But if she did, what would The Five have little to be thankful for??
