During Wednesday’s episode of The Five, Eric Bolling brought up Kim Kardashian‘s warning from the FDA about how her instagram endorsement was “misleading” to users for not warning about the drug’s side effects. It was during this discussion that Bolling brought up Donald Trump‘s blood comments about Megyn Kelly, which quickly made everyone else on-set cringe.
“If you look at at an ad that you need a prescription for, there’s a long list,” Bolling said while discussing drug side effects. It was after he said that migraines were one potential effect that he referenced Trump’s comments, which made Dana Perino and Kimberly Guilfoyle facepalm with embarrassment:
“Migraines may ensue,” Bolling said, “or you’ll bleed from you eyes or your nose, or whatever.”
After Geraldo Rivera asked him not to make reference to bodily fluids, Bolling got back to his original point: That Kardashian does so many ads and endorsements, she probably did not even know about what side effects there might have been.
But all anyone likely saw was the way each and every one of Bolling’s co-hosts reacted negatively to the “bleeding” reference.
