Fox’s Kelly And Perino Say IRS Scandal Gives Glenn Beck Credence: ‘Even A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day’

During a discussion about the latest news developing on the IRS targeting conservatives scandal, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly and Dana Perino echoed a sentiment recently expressed by Jon Stewart on The Daily Show. Just as Stewart said the Obama administration has vindicated conspiracy theorists, Kelly and Perino said that the IRS scandal will give people an excuse to trust Glenn Beck.

Perino said the IRS was “too quick to say it was only a couple of guys” today, calling for a full, independent investigation into the agency if the Obama administration wants to regain credibility with the American people.

“That’s what Jon Stewart’s saying,” Kelly offered, revealing either that she’s a fan or caught the clip from Monday night that has been thrilling conservatives. “You’re giving the conspiracy theorists validity.” She said it reminds her of a t-shirt she’s seen online that reads, “What If Glenn Beck Is Right?”

“Hey, look, even a broken clock is right twice a day,” Perino replied. “And now the conservatives have been proven right. I want to have confidence in government but this–it shatters you inside.”
