On Fox’s MediaBuzz today, Howard Kurtz observed that there may not be as great an “in-depth examination of why the Democrats really lost” as opposed to when, say, Republicans were in the midst of “civil war.”
Washington Examiner chief congressional correspondent Susan Ferrechio said that while Democrats make noise about everything from Russia to the FBI, “what’s being drowned out” is why they didn’t connect with the rust belt.
RealClearPolitics associate editor A.B. Stoddard said Democrats simply “don’t want to look inward” and consider the fact that a lot of people simply didn’t show up at the polls for their candidate.
Kurtz said the media usually loves “party in disarray stories,” but there’s not a lot of that this time around.
Ferrechio said that’s because the media only likes it when Republicans are in disarray…
