Fox’s Pirro Goes Off on ‘Impotent’ IG Report: ‘Nothing More Than a Whitewash by the Deep State’

Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro blasted off on Saturday night as she condemned the “impotent” report from the Justice Department Inspector General for being too lenient on the “deep state” forces within the FBI and the DOJ.

As Pirro acknowledged the 5 FBI agents who were referred for disciplinary action, she said she was “dumbfounded, disheartened and disappointed” the report found that James Comey was “insubordinate” and acted inappropriately, but the Hillary Clinton email investigation was not tainted by political bias.

“The Deep State hard at work,” the judge remarked as she tore into Comey and his “FBI cabal” for how they “fixed” the case against Clinton while trying to “frame” President Trump with the Robert Mueller investigation.

“This report is nothing more than a whitewash by the deep state itself,” Pirro said. “There are great people in the FBI, men and women, and I have had the honor of working with them. But they are embarrassed because they know how bad Comey and company destroyed America’s confidence in that esteemed FBI.”

After Pirro continued to burn Comey, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page over the revelations from the report, she eventually turned her ire towards Rod Rosenstein, asking why the deputy attorney general isn’t turning more records and documents on these matters to Congress. This led to a diatribe against Jeff Sessions, where Pirro once again said he needs to “get the hell out of [Trump’s] way” if he can’t “put on [his] big boy pants and start acting like the AG.”

Since there’s been a lot of questions about whether Pirro wants to replace Sessions, she took a moment to reject the recent reports, saying “I’m not looking for that job.” Still, she lamented that “the deep state is alive and well in Washington, D.C.”
