Fox’s The Five Rips Brooke Baldwin over Vets Remark: ‘CNN Should Be Ashamed’

CNN’s Brooke Baldwin talked yesterday about police training in Baltimore and brought up veterans when she said, “I love our nation’s veterans, but some are coming back from war, they don’t know the communities, and they’re ready to do battle.”

That didn’t exactly sit over well with some, and Baldwin apologized twice on Twitter yesterday and on the air today, once this morning and once on her show.

But the hosts of Fox News’ The Five were still outraged about what she said and continued to pile on Baldwin today. Eric Bolling said that people say dumb things all the time on TV, but then said there’s no justification whatsoever for what Baldwin said and that “there’s something deep-seated if you’re able to make that mistake.”

Dana Perino called it a “vicious slur against the military” and a perpetuation of grossly unfair stereotypes about veterans. Kimberly Guilfoyle said, “She should apologize like 150 million times.”
