Friday Ratings: Anderson Cooper Tops All Of CNN, Beats MSNBC Competitors In Demo

On Friday night, CNN’s Anderson Cooper beat all of his colleagues in total and demo viewers; and defeated his 8 pm ET and 10 pm ET competitors on MSNBC in the key 25-54 demo.

During the 8 pm airing, Cooper’s 122k demo viewers defeated MSNBC’s Ed Schultz‘s 119k. During the 10 pm airing, Cooper’s 159k beat out Lawrence O’Donnell‘s 130k demo viewership. Cooper’s 10 pm demo figure was also enough to secure his victory among all CNN shows that evening. Over on Fox News, Greta Van Susteren‘s On The Record beat both CNN and MSNBC in demo and more than doubled their total viewers.

Both O’Donnell and Schultz beat Cooper in total viewership during their respective time slots, however.

Cooper’s 449k total viewership was enough to top all of CNN for the day, with Piers Morgan coming in a close second with 438k total.
