Geraldo Rivera got heated with Bill O’Reilly tonight as O’Reilly argued that Donald Trump‘s attacks on Hillary Clinton are on the same level as Clinton’s attacks on Trump.
Rivera, who likes Trump but can’t get to supporting him yet, said that it’s beyond the pale for Trump to basically accuse Clinton of treason, bribery, and even being an “accomplice to murder” in Benghazi.
He said, “here is not a scintilla of evidence that anything Hillary Clinton ever did as Secretary of State was ever rewarded quid pro quo…. This is not just bare-knuckle, this is a knife cutting someone’s throat.”
O’Reilly said Clinton has attacked Trump for being a fraud and a schemer too, and there’s “no difference.”
Both men proceeded to clash over whether those attacks are really on the level, and O’Reilly pushed the idea that there’s a clear equivalency.
