Newt Gingrich was on Fox News live tonight as protests and rioting took place in Charlotte, and both he and Sean Hannity said that clearly President Obama‘s policies are a factor in creating this climate.
Hannity brought up Obama jumping to conclusions in race-related cases and his and Hillary Clinton‘s embrace of Black Lives Matter, asking, “Are they contributing to this atmosphere that everybody rushes to judgment?”
Gingrich replied, “It’s an objective fact.”
He brought up how America has had a black president for almost eight years and black attorneys general for that entire time, and so said, “Their rhetoric and their approach and their attitude has made these things worse, not better. I mean, that’s an objective fact.”
Gingrich did go on to say that there are reasons many black communities keep expressing their grief in such public ways, and those reasons must be addressed.
