Glenn Beck Accuses John Boehner of Becoming Harry Reid: ‘They’re All the Same’

At the Values Voter Summit on Saturday afternoon, former Fox News host Glenn Beck attacked leaders of the Republican Party for gelling with Democrats into a “one-party system,” and for not taking the tea party conservatives at face value over their intention to defund the Affordable Care Act.

“They went to their constituents in an election and said this is exactly who I am and this is exactly what I’m going to do,” Beck said. “And now they’re getting hammered by the press and the Republicans for doing exactly what they said they were going to do. That’s how upside down the world is!”

“I’m sorry, I live in Texas, all Texans believe that’s exactly what [Ted Cruz (R-TX)] was going to do, and that’s why we voted for him!” he continued.

Beck went on to bash a compromise between Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and the Senior

Senator from Texas, John Cornyn. “You’re looking at a one-party system,” Beck said, naming the leaders like House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and House Majority LeaderEric Cantor (R-VA), along with Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). “They’re all the same!”

He encouraged his audience to continue pushing a harder line for GOP legislators. “I’m tired of people saying, ‘Oh, but we might lose,'” Beck said. “Yes! And we just might win!”
