Representative Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) spoke to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday to demand that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius resign or be terminated, and that she testify to Congress about the Affordable Care Act federal exchange website rollout before she leaves.
“We want her to talk with us before she is out the door,” Blackburn said. “What we want to figure out from her is, number one, how much money has been spent, is being spent, and is going to be spent on this website, and on the problems that are there. Number two, we have privacy concerns with individuals’ information, making certain they are going to be protected. Number three, we want to look at the expectations, what they expect people are going to see on this website, and when they think it will be fixed.”
“The incompetence in building this website is staggering,” Blackburn continued. “I am talking to health care professionals and constituents, they say how in the world can you expect the government to run one-sixth of the economy when there is this type of staggering incompetence on a website rollout?”
