Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R- FL) said on CNN tonight that President Trump should not be listening to people like Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller who “believe in accommodating this alt-right movement.”

He told Erin Burnett that Trump should listen to people like John Kelly and H.R. McMaster as opposed to “those who believe in accommodating people who are hell-bent on dividing this country.”

When Burnett asked him who specifically he’s talking about, Curbelo mentioned both Bannon and Miller, saying of the latter, “A lot of these ideas that you see coming from Stephen Miller are also associated with these groups.”

He made it clear he’s not calling them racists, just that it’s “pretty clear they believe these groups should be accommodated.”

Burnett asked him if Bannon and Miller should be fired. Curbelo said, “I don’t know if they need to be fired, maybe they need to be marginalized, maybe the President just needs to start taking advice from the right people.”
