Before today’s big health care meeting between President Trump and Republican senators, Sen. Susan Collins told reporters that the President is still on a bit of a learning curve when it comes to working with Congress.
“This President is the first president in our history who has had neither political nor military experience. And that’s––it has been a challenge to him to learn how to interact with Congress and how to push his agenda forward.”
Collins said that Trump should have started with infrastructure first, not health care.
After saying this, Collins ended up sitting next to the President at the big health care meeting:
