Greta Van Susteren Brushes Off ‘Rumors’ That She Considered Coming Back To CNN

Yesterday, we reported that Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren recently initiated meetings with CNN president Jeff Zucker about her possibly re-joining the network (she left CNN in 2002 to for Fox). On her blog today, Van Susteren pushed back on the “rumors.” And while she did not specifically comment on whether she met with CNN this past spring, she insisted that she is not going anywhere.

Van Susteren posted her denial earlier:

I am not going anywhere.

I have a long term contract with Fox and it is for a show in “prime time.”

Done, ok? (And by the way, don’t you love the courage of the anonymous sources? and those who then speculate from there? )

In addition, today’s news that Fox’s Megyn Kelly is moving to primetime also revealed that Van Susteren and some of her colleagues were re-signed to long-term contracts with the network.
