Comedian Hannibal Buress took his interesting relationship with Bill Cosby to the next level when he spoofed the latter’s Kids Say the Darndest Things on his Comedy Central show on Wednesday.
The new Why? With Hannibal Buress segment, titled “Children Say Things That You Don’t Expect Them To Say Sometimes,” puts Buress and several kids together in brief one-on-one interviews to talk about the random stuff minors like the ramble on about.
Actually, that’s totally false. Buress ignores Cosby’s old model, which is probably a good idea considering some of the other gems his old material has turned up in light of the countless rape allegations levied against him. Instead, he asks his subjects about his stand-up comedy, whether or not they’ve seen it, and why their parents chose to restrict Netflix viewing with its built-in content protections.
