Hannity Addresses His Blow-Up at Cruz: I’ve Been ‘More Than Fair’ to Him

hannitySean Hannity tonight devoted a segment of his Fox News show to address his blow-up yesterday at Ted Cruz on his radio show.

For those not in the loop, Hannity confronted Cruz about how he’s reaching out to delegates in ways that Trump supporters are up in arms about. Cruz dismissively said Trump and his people don’t understand the system, which led to Hannity blowing up and crying, “Senator, why do you do this? Every single time––no, you gotta stop!”

Tonight Hannity said this has happened “in the last three interviews” he’s done with the Texas senator, and despite insinuations to the contrary, insisted he’s been “more than fair” to Cruz.

David Limbaugh, a Cruz supporter, told Hannity this was a clear misunderstanding before trashing Team Trump for engaging in an “Alinskyite tactic” against a fellow Republican playing by the rules. Rose Tennent, on the other hand, said Cruz was being “condescending” to Hannity.

Hannity said he believes there should be serious changes to the current delegate system and asking Cruz about the process was certainly a legitimate question.
