On Thursday night, things got a bit awkward towards the end of Sean Hannity‘s interview with Laura Ingraham.
When plugging her new show The Ingraham Angle, which starts airing Monday, Hannity joked about how despite her numerous appearances on Fox News, it always seemed like was never working.
“Are you really showing up to work on Monday or this all some big joke?” he asked. “You never show up to work!”
Ingraham responded by saying she was taking a “zen” approach to the start of her new show. But Hannity wasn’t done.
“You’re like O’Reilly, but O’Reilly took off — but he had worked here for 20 years!” he exclaimed. “You’re taking off as many days as him!”
She laughed (perhaps uncomfortably) at the comparison.
“Now that is a low blow!” Ingraham reacted. “I am not — I’m working hard across the hall on my desk.”
