Hannity Gets Biggest Night of the Year From Tuesday Night’s Coverage of Attacks
Coverage of the terror attacks in Brussels and primary contests in the Western U.S. Tuesday night delivered a big night to Fox’s primetime, and specifically to Sean Hannity who netted his highest ratings of the year, coming in first for his hour in both total viewers (3.5 million) and the 25-54 demo (833K).
During the 8pm-11pm primetime block, covering both the Brussels attacks and the primaries in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho, Fox led cable news networks in both total viewership and demo, its coverage of the Brussels attacks and primaries in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho raking in 3.5 million total viewers and 732K in demo, compared with CNN’s 1.8 million in demo and 651K in demo.
Bill O’Reilly led the night in his hour with 3.8 million total viewers and 663K in demo. Bret Baier anchored the 9pm hour, which led in both total viewers (3.3 million) and demo (700K).
