Hannity, Perino, and Varney Take MSNBC to the Woodshed for ‘Vile’ Bashir, Baldwin Comments

Sean Hannity, along with guests Stuart Varney and Dana Perino, tore apart MSNBC for “vile,” “downright disgusting” comments made by Martin Bashir and Alec Baldwin in the last week, leading Varney to ask the obvious question: “Why on earth would any news operation, anybody, hire somebody like that?”

Perino was shocked that Bashir’s disgusting commentary on Sarah Palin was not just off-the-cuff, but was actually written, planned, out and approved, making it a clear “premeditated attack.”

Varney chalked this up to desperation on the part of MSNBC, with Hannity saying that “the rhetoric of the left has become vile.” He brought up Baldwin and said no one at Fox News would have gotten a pass for saying any of what he said.

Hannity ran a montage of provocative comments made by Ed Schultz and asked, “Why do any of these people have a job?!… Where are the people at NBC News that have some integrity?”
