Sean Hannity spoke to a woman at a health care call center for an exchange that aired on the radio. As a result, the woman was fired, and Hannity spoke to the operator, Earline Davis, on his show Thursday night and pledged to recoup her a year’s salary.
Davis told Hannity she was escorted to HR and informed by one of the “head ladies” over the phone that “we can’t have that type of stuff at the job and we have to release you.” She was escorted out and they removed her belongings from her locker.
Hannity admitted he felt “terrible” for her, and touted how people have responded en masse with offers to help her out. Hannity himself pledged to her a year’s salary that she would have made at her job, telling her she was one of the “nicest, kindest, most helpful people” he’s ever spoken to and “you did not deserve this to happen to you.”
