Sean Hannity took some shots at Hollywood for their anti-Trump Emmy Awards.
The Fox News host accused “liberal elites” of “smearing, slandering, and besmirching” the character of President Trump at Sunday night’s award show, calling them “overpaid, out of touch, pampered” as well as “dumb and hypocritical.”
Hannity then praised former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer‘s surprise appearance, which he believed “stole the show,” calling it a “minute of levity.”
He went on to mock the ceremony’s poor ratings, saying “the American people didn’t care to watch this Hollywood hatefest.”
“Hollywood’s insane, unhinged hatred for the president is pretty much unlike anything we have ever seen,” Hannity said. “Just look at how actors and comedians and musicians have repeatedly threatened or encouraged violence against the president. These people have become unhinged, deranged, and kind of in a weird way obsessed with the president and it shows how out of touch, oblivious they are to the American people and the agenda that you voted for.”
