Hannity Takes on Dem Rep Who Said ‘Feels Like Open Season on Black Men’

Sean Hannity took on Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), who said on the House floor this week that “it feels like open season on black men in America.”

Right off the bat, Hannity’s statistics on the number of black Americans killed by police directly conflicted with those presented by Johnson, and the Fox host pressed Johnson on whether “black-on-black crime” is the real problem at hand.

Hannity acknowledged that Walter Scott‘s death at the hands of South Carolina police officer Michael Slager was an “assassination,” but told the congressman Scott’s death cannot be equated to those of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. Johnson wasn’t buying that.

“You can’t think of one other instance where there has been an unjustified killing that has been caught on tape?” Johnson said.

Hannity said, though, that it seems like he and Johnson are in general agreement, but that Johnson “seems to only want to go after law enforcement.”
