Hannity to Jeanine Pirro: ‘I Watch Your Monologue. You Scare Me Sometimes’

There are good spirits on Fox News tonight following President Donald Trump‘s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the vacant spot on the Supreme Court. In some cases, uncharacteristically good spirits. And Sean Hannity noticed.

On his show, Hannity was speaking with his guest, Fox host Jeanine Pirro, about Kavanaugh. Pirro is known for her … we’ll say “fiery” monologues to open her show. But tonight Pirro was positively cheery.

“He’s a ‘Yalie’, he’s brilliant, they’re perfect,” Pirro raved.

Hannity discussed a bit of Kavanaugh’s background and praised the fact that this selection gives a lot of background to work with and review.

Pirro agreed, of course, saying “it’s all there right before you, and you know what else I like about him?”

At that point Hannity interrupted to say “I like seeing you smile about something. I do.”

“Well, you know, the guy–” she began just as Hannity continued.

“I watch your monologues. You scare me sometimes,” he joked.

They both laughed before Pirro finished her thought. “He runs marathons. He was a pit bull when he was working with Ken Starr. He’s a tough guy but he’s a soft guy,” she said.

She then added, nearly giddy, “he’s perfect!”
