As Donald Trump appears increasingly likely to become America’s next president, Hillary Clinton has apparently decided to skip her own Election Night event.
Reporters confirmed earlier tonight that Clinton would not be making an appearance tonight at the Javits Center.
Instead, her campaign chairman John Podesta appeared before the crowd, and he said that everyone should head on out.
“They’re still counting votes. and every vote could count,” Podesta insisted. “Several states are too close to call. So we are not going to have anything more to say tonight… Everybody should head home.”
Podesta thanked Clinton’s supporters for their enthusiasm, and he concluded his brief address by promising “she is not done yet!”
While several battleground states have yet to be confirmed, it is now an increasing certainty that Clinton has lost the election.
