Hillary Clinton Diagnosed With Blood Clot Between Brain And Skull

CNN has learned that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is suffering from a blood clot which is lodged between her brain and her skull. The clot has not, according to the report, resulted in a stroke or brain damage. Sec. Clinton is being treated with anti-coagulants and blood thinners. According to a statement by her doctors with George Washington University, Clinton is expected to be released once the appropriate medical dose has been established.

Clinton’s doctors said that the secretary is progressing quickly and is expected to make a full recovery. She is conscious and in “good spirits,” according to the statement.

There has been much speculation that Clinton’s blood clot was in other regions of the body, not her head because a blood clot resulting from a concussion – an injury Clinton recently suffered – is not usually treated with blood thinning drugs.
