Hillary Clinton called out Donald Trump today for not releasing his tax returns by saying he probably wants to maintain an illusion about just how wealthy he is.
Chuck Todd asked Clinton about Mark Cuban‘s willingness to be her VP pick, and Clinton said she would like to look at successful business people for the slot––”successful business people who are really successful as opposed to pretend successful.”
She said that making America great involves paying for lots of essential services, and the country would be ill-served by having a president “afraid” to release his own personal financial information to the public.
She said the country doesn’t know enough about Trump and he needs to “prove he actually has the level of success he claims he has.”
