Hillary Reacts to State Dept. Staffer Getting Immunity in Email Case: ‘I’m Delighted’

On Face the Nation today, Hillary Clinton reacted to the State Department staffer who helped set up her private email server being granted immunity in the ongoing investigation over it.

Clinton completely dismissed concerns from Democrats that someone is probably going to get indicted, saying there’s “no basis for that,” and declaring she is “delighted” that Bryan Pagliano is cooperating.

John Dickerson skeptically asked, “You see this as good news?”

Clinton said yes, because it means “we’re closer and closer to wrapping this up.” She insisted she’s been “more transparent than anyone I can think of in public life,” adding that the real problem here is retroactive classification.
