As Hillary Clinton raked Donald Trump across the coals in her foreign policy speech, she included attacks on how he could pick fights with America’s allies while offering praise to some of its greatest enemies.
The former Secretary of State questioned whether her likely opponent recognizes the complexity of dealing with other nations. She warned that Trump’s rhetoric could lead to a global economic crisis and remarked, “I don’t understand his bizarre fascination with dictators and strong men who have no love for America.”
And that wasn’t all:
“He praised China for the Tiananmen Square Massacre, he said it showed strength. He said we should give Kim Jong-Un credit for taking over North Korea, something he did by murdering everyone who was a threat, which Donald gleefully recapped like an action movie. And he said if he were grading Vladimir Putin as a leader he would give him a ‘A.'”
“I will leave it to the psychiatrists to explain his affection for tyrants,” Clinton said. “I just wonder how anyone could be so wrong about who America’s real friends are, because it matters.”
