President Donald Trump is acting like a “man-baby” with his letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, says Congressman Dan Kildee (D-MI).
“We’re ready to take up any legislation that the president may sign or any legislation with sufficient votes to pass it without the President’s signature,” he told MSNBC’s Katy Tur. “This is the president essentially being a man-baby all over again.”
The White House told reporters that the president had canceled Pelosi’s trips abroad in “tit-for-tat” reaction to Pelosi’s decision to postpone the President’s State of the Union address. Kildee called that a “ridiculous” statement.
“I will tell you this: [Pelosi] is a woman who’ll take all responsibilities extraordinary,” he said. “He works hard — she works harder than anybody here on the globe. President Trump should take a lesson from her. If he worked that hard, he would not have and we would not have a problem.”
