‘How Disrespectful Was That?!’ Fox & Friends Bash Lester Holt for Interrupting Trump ‘Nine Times!’

Lester Holt‘s White House interview with an embattled President Trump has launched a myriad of news stories regarding the shifting narrative and appearance of impropriety surrounding the recent firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

And while nearly every other news program has focused on the raft of news that has emerged from Holt’s interview, the producers and co-hosts of Fox & Friends noticed just how many times Mr. Holt interrupted the president. “Seemed like an interrogation,” proclaimed Steve Doocy, who found agreement from the other end of the “curvy couch” from fellow co-host Brian Kilmeade, who exclaimed “how disrespectful was that?”

In fairness, Ainsely Earhardt jumped in later in the segment to suggest that perhaps the Oval Office and White House communications team should be on the same page, a critique heard on other cable news programs. Kilmeade agreed, noting that message inconsistencies open the door for “three-dollar pundits” to unfairly criticize the president.

Wait…what other phrase is used with a “three dollar bill”? We’ll give him a pass on that.
