How Pointless Was This ‘Watters World’ Apple Store Segment?

The Watters World segments on The O’Reilly Factor generally go like this: let’s send Jesse Watters to a place where dumb young people reside then we’ll have him ask them questions and laugh hysterically at how little they know about the world around him because all young people are ignorant and dumb.

But at least most of them are amusing and have some kind of point to them. There have been some incredibly pointless segments, like when he went to a college’s nudity week and when he asked probing political questions of Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga fans.

Tonight’s segment consisted solely of Watters talking to people outside an Apple store. And… that’s it.

The only real tie-in the segment had was to Bill O’Reilly‘s strong feelings about how “the machines” are making Americans more ignorant of the world around them.

Oh, and there were sex-related questions.
