On Wednesday night’s O’Reilly Factor, Laura Ingraham suggested President Obama‘s comments about Hillary Clinton during a Tonight Show appearance may mean a Hillary 2016 candidacy could get a big boost from the White House. Kirsten Powers and Kate Obenshain agreed that Clinton will be the likely Democratic nominee, should she run, with Powers remarking, “I don’t know why anyone would bother to challenge her.”
Powers noted that a huge majority of Democratic voters have already settled on Clinton for 2016, and none of the other potential candidates come up even close. She added that some other Democrats might run, not because they seriously believe they could stop the Hillary juggernaut, but to “set themselves up for a future run.”
Ingraham and Obenshain also used all the Hillary talk to revisit her career as Secretary of State, or as Ingraham nicknamed it, “Hillary diplomacy.” Obenshain insisted liberals are exaggerating just how good a job she did, ignoring the Russian “reset” and Benghazi. She told Ingraham that Clinton might be “concerned” about her big lead, because it makes her a “huge target” three years removed from the race. She also claimed Obama isn’t “really interested in a Hillary presidency.”
But all three of them could agree on one thing: Joe Biden has no chance in hell of winning.
